Birame N. Sock is a successful technical executive and serial entrepreneur. She is currently the Founder and Managing Partner of Founder 5, Inc. a startup management group focused on developing innovative ventures with successful executives and non-technical co-founders in various industries in the US and Africa. Birame founded Kweli, the latest portfolio company which is a B2B wholesale sourcing marketplace for African vendors. She was the winner of the 2010 Cartier Women’s Initiative for North America and has been a member of the North America official Jury since 2017. Birame also currently serves on the Board of Techbridge Girls, a non-profit focused on teaching STEM to young girls living in underserved neighborhoods.

Birame was the Founder of Third Solutions (acquired in 2014) and was the visionary and primary developer of MyReceipts©, the leading digital receipts platform. She was also the Founder of Musicphone, Inc., which was acquired in July 2007 by Gracenote, Inc. after launching the first Wireless Music Recognition service called MusicID (now Shazam).
